Allan Rankin

We very sad to announce that Allan Rankin passed away, Saturday 22 March 2003, of a sudden heart attack in Leysin.

A message from Scott Rankin

The ceremony on Saturday the 29th of March 2003 had a very good turnout. Everybody was happy for Allan that it was such a good send off.

He was cremated on Monday the 31st of March 2003.

After various discussions, the family has decided to have the ashes buried in the Leysin graveyard.

Allan's remains now rest in the Leysin graveyard. A granite tombstone has the following inscription :
